Death Makes Life Possible
(Co-Produced by the Institute of Noetic Sciences and The Chopra Foundation) - This documentary tackles a taboo topic for many in our modern world, and explores a fundamental question: How can understanding death inform how we live our lives?

Our guide is Marilyn Schlitz, a cultural anthropologist and scientist who sets out to find answers.  Her journey connects viewers to universal questions and also to their own perspectives on the ultimate meaning of life, death, and what lies beyond.

We meet people with compelling personal stories of near-death and out-of-body experiences, each sharing their sense of hope and possibility about what lies beyond death of the body.  Mental health experts help us consider the meaning of death and how we can live without fear, and scientists share how they are seeking evidence for the soul.  We also meet people who seem to have come to terms with their own mortality.

These interviews and the evidence presented by the experts are interwoven with short vignettes of everyday people from different cultures who share their views on death.  In “man-on-the-street” interviews, people share their hopes and fears, and we take a look at popular culture images that reveal the ever present fear many have about the nature of their own mortality.

This film makes the case that we have much to gain by facing our fear of death and asking what death might have to offer our lives.  ‘Death Makes Life Possible’ is a must see for anyone who’s going to die.

 I A
M
 - "I AM" is an utterly engaging and entertaining non-fiction film that poses two practical and provocative questions: what’s wrong with our world, and what can we do to make it better?   The filmmaker behind the inquiry is Tom Shadyac, one of Hollywood’s leading comedy practitioners and the creative force behind such blockbusters as “Ace Ventura,” “Liar Liar,” “The Nutty Professor,” and “Bruce Almighty.”

However, in I AM, Shadyac steps in front of the camera to recount what happened to him after a cycling accident left him incapacitated, possibly for good. Though he ultimately recovered, he emerged with a new sense of purpose, determined to share his own awakening to his prior life of excess and greed, and to investigate how he as an individual, and we as a race, could improve the way we live and walk in the world.

The Quantum Activist - Dr. Amit Goswami, Ph.D, a pioneer of a revolutionary new perspective within science shares with us his vision of the unlimited potential of consciousness as the ground of all being, and how this revelation can actually help us to live better.

The ‘Quantum Activist’ tells the story of a man who challenges us to rethink our very notions of existence and reality, with a force and scope not felt since Einstein.

This film bridges the gap between God and Science. The work of Goswami, with stunning precision and without straying from the rigors of quantum mechanics, reveals the overarching unity inherent in the world’s major religions and mystical traditions.
